Plain-language policies

Terms of service.

The practical ground rules for estimates, installation work, warranties, and using this website.

Last updated October 21, 2026

1. The short version

Apollo Pet Doors will describe the planned work, communicate when conditions change, perform the agreed work professionally, and stand behind Apollo’s service for one year. Customers must provide accurate project information, permission and safe access to the property, and payment for approved work.

2. Estimates and project scope

Website prices and the online estimator are starting points. A project’s final scope and price depend on the selected door, measurements, materials, access, utilities, permits, and conditions at the property. The written estimate or work agreement for a specific project controls if it differs from this page.

Standard prices are all-inclusive with the door, installation, and tax included. Premium masonry estimates include $375 labor, and premium in-door and wall estimates include $249 labor, plus the selected Hale door. Applicable sales tax on premium doors is additional. Product pricing, measurements, fit, and site conditions will be confirmed before ordering and booking.

Work outside the agreed scope requires customer approval and may change the price or schedule.

3. Customer responsibilities

The customer confirms that they own the property or have authority to approve the work. The customer is responsible for landlord, HOA, architectural, or other property approvals unless Apollo agrees otherwise in writing.

Please provide accurate information, disclose known utilities or hazards, clear the work area, provide reasonable access, and keep pets and people safely away from active work.

Concealed conditions

4. What may be behind the wall

Construction can reveal conditions that could not reasonably be seen before work began. Examples include unexpected framing, wiring, plumbing, moisture or water damage, pests, rot, hazardous materials, masonry conditions, prior repairs, or code issues.

If Apollo discovers an unexpected condition, Apollo may stop the affected work, explain what was found, and propose a revised location, scope, price, or schedule. No additional work will be performed without approval when approval is reasonably possible.

Apollo is not responsible for the existence, correction, or consequences of pre-existing, concealed, or undisclosed conditions that Apollo did not create. This does not excuse damage caused by Apollo’s own failure to perform the agreed work professionally or any responsibility that cannot legally be excluded.

5. One-year service warranty

Services performed by Apollo Pet Doors are covered by a one-year warranty beginning on the date the work is completed. If covered Apollo workmanship fails during that period, notify Apollo promptly and provide a reasonable opportunity to inspect and correct the covered work.

The service warranty covers Apollo’s workmanship. It does not cover normal wear, cosmetic changes from ordinary use, pet damage, misuse, neglect, accidents, weather events, movement or failure of the existing structure, concealed conditions, or changes made by the customer or another contractor.

6. Product warranties

Standard pet doors include a one-year product warranty. Hale pet doors include a lifetime frame warranty and a 10-year prorated flap warranty. Product coverage may be handled under the manufacturer’s warranty terms, including its exclusions, documentation requirements, and available remedy.

Product warranties and Apollo’s service warranty are separate. A product failure does not automatically mean the installation work was defective.

7. Scheduling, payment, and cancellations

Scheduling and payment terms will appear in the project estimate, invoice, or other written agreement. Customers are responsible for approved work, products ordered for the project, and approved changes. Please contact Apollo as soon as possible if an appointment must be changed.

8. Website use

This website provides general information and a conceptual estimator. It is not a substitute for inspecting a proposed installation location. Do not misuse the site, attempt to disrupt it, or submit false or unlawful requests.

9. Responsibility and Arizona law

Each party remains responsible for its own actions. To the extent allowed by law, Apollo is not responsible for indirect or consequential losses arising from website use, delays, product failure, or conditions outside Apollo’s control. Nothing in these terms limits rights or responsibilities that cannot legally be limited.

Arizona law governs these terms and Apollo projects performed in Arizona. If there is a concern, contact Apollo first so there is an opportunity to inspect the issue and work toward a practical resolution.
